**About the Role**:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable **Support Worker** to assist one of our participants with morning routines and personal care. This role involves working closely with an individual who has difficulty hearing, **so excellent, clear spoken English is essential.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care support, including assistance with showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support the participant with morning routines to promote independence and dignity
- Communicate clearly and respectfully to ensure the participant feels heard and understood
- Follow care plans and report any concerns or changes in the participant’s condition
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the participant

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a support or personal care role (preferred but not essential)
- Strong verbal communication skills with clear, fluent English
- Empathy, patience, and a commitment to person-centered care
- Ability to work morning shifts reliably
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)

**Desirable**:

- Certificate III in Individual Support or similar qualification
- Experience working with participants with hearing impairments

Pay: $23.92 - $48.89 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
