About the Role
- Supervise staff in keeping with contemporary human resource practices, expectations of MSHHS and Queensland Health policies and procedures, including utilising effective recruitment and selection processes, staff performance tools, rosters and leave management systems.
- Prepare high-quality reports related to facility management, staffing, compliance and other related matters as required. This includes compiling and summarising data, ensuring accuracy and relevance, and presenting findings in a clear and actionable manner to support decision-making and compliance.
- Manage and coordinate the relief roster in consultation with Administration and Facility Supervisors to ensure forecasted leave is backfilled and rostered relief is communicated to all affected staff.
- Manage and maintain budget and expenses, identifying financial trends, and implementing strategies for financial sustainability.
- Support onsite facility supervisors as the escalation point to resolve day-to-day facility management issues and actively identify and progress urgent, scheduled and corrective building maintenance to enhance service delivery and maximise efficiency.
