As a Clinical Support Officer in the dynamic Medical Assessment Unit at Wollongong Hospital, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative processes that underpin high-quality patient care. Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of medical, nursing, and allied health professionals, you will manage critical tasks such as roster updates, data entry, resource coordination, and workforce support.

Your ability to maintain accurate documentation, organize meetings, and respond effectively to workforce and operational needs will be essential to the success of the unit.

Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
