An iconic Australian retailer, based in Melbourne CBD, is currently on the lookout for a **Store Design & Planning Manager **to join their team.

**The Role**

This role will ideally suit someone who is passionate leader, with experience of transforming store layouts, brand flow, and adjacencies to exceed design and quality standards, while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

This includes overseeing scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, managing project budgets, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements, and handling vendor relations.

The role demands a collaborative spirit, as the Store Design & Planning Manager will work closely with both the internal design team and external designers, contractors, and manufacturers to deliver exceptional design outcomes.

Ongoing engagement with local and global brands to align design principles is key to the success of this role.

**Qualifications/Experience required**
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- Experience in a similar role within retail
- Strong project management skills
- The ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Financial management of projects
- Leadership experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
