**About the Company**

This company is a major player within the global renewable energy market. They develop own and operate large wind farm and solar farm projects in multiple countries around the world - having 3GW of projects in operation and development phases. They are currently developing a large pipeline of projects in Australia.

**About the Role**

Based in Melbourne with regular regional and interstate travel you will liaise with the local community and engage with stake holders including land owners, government agencies, financiers, engineers and suppliers driving development for major wind farm projects.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Draft, update and maintain project budget(s)
- Conduct planning feasibility studies and co-ordinating internal resources to conduct other feasibility studies
- Mapping project sites using GIS software(s)
- Manage external consultants to delivery agreed scope within budget and on time
- Identifying existing investment opportunities to quickly grow and commercialise of portfolio, whilst implementing de-risk protocols to drive positive economic outcomes
- Project management and co-ordination of all workstreams including holding regular meetings
- Support and/or lead a workgroup to participate in tender(s)

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Flexibility to travel interstate as required
- Knowledge and experience in negotiating and administering contracts
- Good understanding of dealing with local councils, land owners and relevant government authorities
- 2-5 years experiences as Developer Manager
- Significant renewable energy experience - Wind preferable
