Join AGL as Wind Operations and Maintenance Manager (VIC)

Are you ready to lead the operational performance of AGL’s Wind assets in Victoria? We are looking for a skilled Wind Operations Manager (Fixed Term Contract) to ensure the seamless and reliable operation of our Wind portfolio, working collaboratively with Wholesale Markets, Engineering, and service providers to achieve safety, production, and financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and develop the wind portfolio team to achieve operational excellence and portfolio objectives.- Champion operations and maintenance excellence as a driving philosophy.- Prioritise portfolio activities to achieve maximum beneficial output from limited resources.- Manage safe operational activities in accordance with the Asset Management Plan.- Ensure effective communication with Physical Markets, coordination of permitting and safe isolation of generation plant and support of outage activities.- Manage revenue and cost drivers to drive wind financial performance.- Prepare timely and accurate reports on managerial, technical, safety, environmental, and financial performance.- Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingencies and monitor and manage wind portfolio risk exposures.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Tertiary qualifications in an engineering discipline.- Experience in asset management of large-scale plant operations, including project and contract management.- Understanding of financial and risk management principles.- Demonstrated capability in development and deployment of maintenance and operating systems, procedures, policies, and quality assurance processes.- High level of achievement in, and demonstrated commitment to, safety management and environmental compliance.
