**A place to make a difference**:

- In this part time, permanent role (9 day fortnight) based in the Moreton Bay region, you’ll work within a team to provide case management and safety planning support to women and children who are escaping or experiencing domestic violence, within the refuge accommodation and outreach program. The role attracts some mínimal rostered on-call responsibilities, and reports to the Team Leader.
- You will make a difference by: _
- Facilitating the provision of safe accommodation to women and children escaping domestic and family violence
- Conducting thorough risk and needs assessments, within a trauma informed case management framework
- Working with families to source appropriate, safe and sustainable accommodation free from violence and/or connecting families with services to meet their needs

- Demonstrated experience in case management and knowledge of relevant legislation
- Knowledge and understanding of domestic and family violence, including the impact on children
- Demonstrated experience working with families from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Current driver’s licence
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or significant experience in a similar service
