**The Role**
We are currently seeking a Trade Assistant with experience and exposure to mobile plant - specifically working around plant and machinery, assisting fully qualified fitters with day to day duties at our Spotswood workshop
- Workshop will be moving to Avalon in the coming months.
Most duties will include but will not be limited to:

- Basic machine servicing, compliance checks and inspections
- Day to day workshop tasks
- Upholding a strong safety culture - regularly assisting in providing safety checks and inspections
- Assisting in troubleshooting where possible
- Liaising and keeping open lines of communication with relevant stakeholders
- Keeping the site as clean as possible - regularly cleaning equipment, plant and machinery as well as keeping workshops and sheds tidy and risk free

**About you**
To be successful in this role, we ask that you:

- Have relevant tickets and licenses
- Strong safety sense with knowledge of basic workplace practices
- Excellent communicator
- Current white card
- Knowledge of use around basic hand & power tools
- Knowledge and basic exposure to plant & machinery
- Basic computer/Tablet skills an advantage
- Transport to and from our workshop
