gforce is recruiting a Trades Assistant / Labourer on behalf of our client, a local business specialising in custom furniture for commercial businesses and schools across Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula.

The role involves :

  • Grinding, cutting steel and timber, and sanding
  • Welding (depending on experience)
  • Measuring, marking, and preparing materials
  • Using workshop machinery (saws, drills, grinders, sanders)
  • Assembling components and fittings
  • Packing, loading / unloading, and general workshop duties
  • Keeping the workshop clean and safe

What we're looking for :

  • Workshop, labouring, or trade experience
  • Confident with hand and power tools
  • Welding skills (advantage, not essential)
  • Reliable, detail-focused, and safety-conscious
  • Driver's licence and own transport
