The role Our client is a multidisciplinary studio with an impressive list of finished projects across a variety of sectors, internationally. They are still in a period of growth, however, and opportunities exist to help shape the leadership approach and client base in Australia. Their Melbourne office has identified the need to appoint a lead interior designer to drive their expansion into the hotel and hospitality sector. Key Responsibilities - Establish client networks within target sectors and be responsible for turning leads into real projects - Lead a team of interior designers in numerous locations
- Mentor, empower, and inspire the next generation of designers - Contribute to conceptual design - Oversee project pipelines, financial and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes for the client and the practice. Skills & Experience - Tertiary Education in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or equivalent. - Min 15 years of professional experience. Ideally within the desired sectors of hospitality, residential and/or hotel
- Ability and proven experience taking projects from pitch to handover - Entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to take the challenge. - Keen design eye. Benefits & Culture
