HR Cadet

Melbourne, AUCYP Design & Construction Joint Venture (CYP D&C) has been contracted to design and build the tunnels and stations for the Metro Tunnel Project.

CYP D&C brings together three of Australia's leading construction partners John Holland, Lendlease, and Bouygues Construction.

The Metro Tunnel Project will untangle the City Loop by taking three of Melbourne’s busiest train lines through a new tunnel under the city. It will create a new end-to-end train line from Sunbury to Cranbourne/Pakenham, with twin nine-kilometre tunnels and five new underground stations at Arden, Parkville, Anzac, and two new CBD stations - State Library and Town Hall - which will directly connect to the City Loop.

We are always looking for Undergraduates who are up for a challenge, eager to learn, have an ability to build relationships and are keen to transform lives of our people, our communities, and our customers. As the project gets underway, we have exciting opportunities for Cadets to join the CYP Construction team.

Our Cadet Program is a paid working experience to provide students firsthand construction industry exposure. On-the-job training will allow Cadets to gain knowledge of the operations of a large-scale organisation, team and department whilst inherently boosting your skills and experience, while building the biggest transport project in Victoria’s history.

Degree disciplines we will be considering for our cadet roles will include.
- Bachelor of Business

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you are available as per the following.
- Full-time Placements during the June/July and Dec-Feb holidays from university
- Part-time Placements during Uni Semesters, up to 3 days a week (As required and study commitments allow)
