**Job Description**:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Leader with a keen business acumen and Transport experience to join our Bulk DG division.
The Regional Manager, West is primarily responsible for the leadership, safety, profitability, and growth of multiple Bulk DG Logistics operations across the country. Key responsibilities include full P&L ownership, Contract management, People leadership, Operational excellence and Customer Relations. To work effectively with internal and external customers within a complex matrix environment, this role requires the experience of articulate communicator with in-depth knowledge of Transport and the mining sector and any bulk DG awareness would be an advantage.
**Primary responsibilities will be to ensure**:
- Resources (people, systems, financial) and assets are available to meet the regions business plan
- The establishment and Management of profitability and performance standards against contractual obligations and P&L
- Demonstration of Innovation and leading change across the operations through strong leadership and accountability
- The building of strong relationships with our customer/s and can identify opportunities to grow our business through a sustainable and integrated business model whilst leveraging our capabilities across the supply chain.
- Provision of strong leadership, creating a positive workplace culture through collaboration and influencing the mindset of our people to improve the overall capability of the region
- Consistent driving of safety initiatives, ensuring adherence to statutory and regulatory frameworks, whilst promoting a workplace of Safety First.
**Qualifications**:
**Qualifications**
- A tertiary qualification in logistics or business-related discipline or equivalent experience
- A least 8 years management experience in transport, logistics or related industry
**To be successful in this role you possess**:
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and fatigue management as it pertains to the Transport industry, specifically including dangerous goods.
- Strong customer service orientation - excellent understanding and strong curiosity about our customers and what adds value to them
- Excellent knowledge of personnel and operational requirements, relating to training and compliance.
- Strong incident management/investigation skills - ability to determine root cause and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Ability to consider a broad range of internal and external factors when solving problems and making decisions
- Strong analytical skills
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated collaborative nature - seeks to improve overall Toll business results.
