Join a leading construction materials business as their Distribution Manager at their site based in Picton.

**Your new role**
Your new company is an industry leader in construction materials, and they have an exciting opportunity based in Picton. Reporting to the Fleet and Logistics Manager, the role of the Distribution Manager is to provide packaged products a process for effective and safe delivery to customer sites and storage depots in NSW and Victoria. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Managing individual and team KPI's within agreed budgets - driving success
- Manage and maintain stakeholder relationships including customers, contractors, and sales
- Lead and support your small team of 6 customer service and allocations staff
- Guide the development of all team members by identifying and providing learning and development opportunities
- Ensure compliance and legislation around chain of responsibility and fatigue management
- Manage and co-ordinate Despatch team and Contractors to achieve distribution KPI’s for the site
- Maintain current processes while always striving for continuous improvement to meet compliance and efficiency goals
- Management of inventory
- Pallet control management

**What you'll need to succeed**
You will be a driven manager and people leader with experience in managing small teams. You will have experience in supply chain environments, customer service and cost management as well as the following:

- Management experience within Logistics or Warehousing roles
- Transport or manufacturing industry experience highly advantageous
- Experience across despatch functions including transport scheduling, goods receipting, inventory management, CoR and fatigue management
- Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office
- A keen eye for continuous improvement and experience in cost management

**What you'll get in return**
You’ll receive a salary of up to $130K+ Super depending on experience, joining a mentoring business with a clear path for further career progression.
