Toowoomba, Australia WPC Group - Apprentices & Trainees Full time

In return, you will receive exceptional, world class training through attending TAFE, learning from experienced Nissan Technicians and Service team and receiving one-on-one mentoring throughout the duration of your apprenticeship.

**About you**
- A passion for cars and the desire to become a highly skilled and in-demand automotive expert.
- Commitment to an apprenticeship, including studies at TAFE.
- Strong sense of self-motivation, enthusiasm and 'can do' attitude.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Professional presentation at all times.
- Honesty, trustworthy and punctual.
- Valid Provisional Driver’s License is preferable_._
- Automotive pre-apprenticeship or prior experience is beneficial but not essential.

**Duties**
- Minor servicing of light vehicles.
- Assisting and observing mechanics where necessary.
- Cleaning and tidying of work areas.
- Operating electrical test equipment.
- Follow safe working practices in an automotive environment.
- Use and maintain tools and equipment specific to light vehicle automotive.
- Identify automotive electrical systems and components.

**About the Apprenticeship**

Upon completion of your apprenticeship you'll receive a nationally recognised Trade Certificate (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology) and be a Certified Nissan Technician. Another option is to do a dual trade qualification, where in 12 months, you can obtain experience in automotive electrical too.
