**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Ongoing Full Time
- Based from Leongatha depot
- Base salary $67,229 + 11.5% superannuation + maintenance allowance

Our Parks and Garden team are looking for a suitably experienced, qualified and self motivated team member to assist in the maintenance and protection of key open space assets including parks and gardens.

Key responsibilities include:

- Horticulture maintenance work to ensure compliance with Asset Management Plans and other service levels.
- Safe operation of a variety of plant & equipment currently used in Horticulture maintenance including mowers, brush cutters, spray equipment, and chainsaws.
- Pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance to ensure the safe operation of plant and equipment used.
- Adopting safety procedures that ensure the protection of employees and the public.

**ABOUT YOU**:
You will have knowledge and experience in parks and gardens maintenance, suitable qualifications ideally Certificate 3 in Horticulture, current drivers licence and a good understanding of how to safely and competently undertake open space management duties, including operating a variety of plant and equipment.

You will be known for your excellent attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work well within a team and you must be prepared to work between our depots based in Foster and Leongatha.
