**About the Role**:
We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced male disability support worker to join our team. The role involves working with male clients who require support with daily living activities, emotional regulation, and behaviour management.

You will play a key role in building trust and rapport, promoting independence, and supporting clients to achieve their personal goals. This position involves working closely with individuals who may display complex behaviours, so experience in behavioural support and de-escalation strategies is essential.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide person-centred support to clients with intellectual and/or psychosocial disabilities
- Implement behaviour support strategies and respond to challenging situations with calm and professionalism
- Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, community access, and transportation
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
- Build strong, respectful relationships with clients and their families

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrated skills in de-escalation
- A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Desirable**:

- Relevant qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or Mental Health
- Experience with behaviour support plans.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- Working with Children Check - Employee (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- CPR Certification (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (preferred)
- Fire and Safety Training Certification (preferred)
- Infection Prevention and Control Certification (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
