**The key accountabilities of the role**:
- Lead and manage M&A integration efforts, ensuring alignment across people, processes, technology, and culture.
- Drive execution of business-critical strategic projects, focusing on growth, efficiency, and operational excellence.
- Work cross-functionally with teams across Product, Technology, Finance, Sales, Professional Services, and Operations to ensure smooth project execution.
- Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and operational challenges, ensuring seamless transitions and maximum synergy realisation.
- Implement change management strategies to support internal and external stakeholders through transformations.
- Define and monitor KPIs for integration and strategic project success, using data-driven insights to guide continuous improvement.
- Support executive leadership in identifying and executing new opportunities for efficiency, scalability, and innovation.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure projects align with business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.
**The key responsibilities of the role**:
- Develop and execute M&A integration plans, ensuring effective integration of newly acquired businesses into the organization’s operations.
- Monitor and report on integration progress, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize business outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance operational performance, scalability, and market positioning.
- Manage stakeholder engagement, ensuring seamless collaboration between internal teams, external partners, and acquired entities.
- Analyse data and industry trends to drive informed decision-making and optimise integration and project outcomes.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to leadership on business transformation opportunities.
- Ensure alignment between corporate strategy, product strategy, and operational execution.
**The key requirements for the role**:
- Strong M&A integration experience, with expertise in post-merger processes, systems, and culture alignment.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional strategic projects, navigating complex priorities while ensuring stakeholder alignment.
- Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset, capable of balancing short-term execution with long-term business value.
- Strong analytical skills to monitor performance metrics, interpret data, and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in change management, business transformation, and operational improvements.
- Ability to solve problems in fast-paced environments, bringing structured thinking to ambiguous challenges.
- Understanding of M&A integration best practices, including operational, financial, and cultural integration.
- Familiarity with enterprise software, SaaS business models, and B2B customer needs.
- Understanding of data-driven decision-making and how to leverage analytics for strategic planning.
- Knowledge of business transformation methodologies, including Agile and Lean process improvement.
- Proven track record of leading post-merger integrations, with experience in aligning acquired businesses with corporate strategy.
- Demonstrated success in leading strategic, high-impact business projects.
- Experience working cross-functionally across Product, Technology, Finance, Sales, and Operations.
- Hands-on experience in change management, guiding organisations through transitions and scaling challenges.
- Strong background in analysing business performance data and developing strategic recommendations.
- Consulting background highly regarded, particularly experience in managing complex integrations, strategic transformations, or business process improvements within a consulting environment.
