**Create your best future and join Westpac as an Executive Manager Customer & Market Research** - **Full-time Permanent opportunity**: - **Sydney based**: - **Hybrid working model** **What’s the role?** As an Executive Manager, you will lead Westpac’s Customer and Market Research practice, placing customer insights at the centre of strategic decision-making across marketing, consumer, and business functions. You’ll define and grow a high-performing team with deep expertise in research, fostering a collaborative, cross-functional culture across CI&P and related teams. Your role will drive governance and quality assurance across core initiatives, manage a panel of research vendors, and oversee the delivery of impactful research programs that support marketing, product, and customer service outcomes. You’ll also lead the development and optimisation of brand and advertising tracking, ensuring insights are embedded into key decision-making forums. Additionally, you’ll maintain and evolve systems to measure MFI performance, providing actionable insights to drive business outcomes. This is a pivotal leadership role for someone passionate about leveraging data and research to shape customer-centric strategies and deliver measurable value. **What do I need?** - Extensive experience in research management, business strategy, quantitative market research or equivalent within the financial services industry - Strong background in applied research, operational management, innovation in core practices market research - Significant experience in leadership roles - Ability to translate technical skills into business strategy - Experience in qualitative and quantitative research (desirable) **Why join us?** We’re obsessed with becoming our customers #1 banking partner for life and we’re looking for people who are passionate about helping us achieve that goal.
