**Overview**
- This role is responsible for driving the delivery of data solutions to internal and external stakeholders. This is a broad-ranging role, including understanding the business requirements, data modelling, data profiling/analysis, design data solution (data flow), preparing technical documentation, production support, data mapping and data reconciliation and other support needs as required.**This is a 6 months Day rate Contract role to be based in Melbourne.**

**Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities**
- Strategic Focus- Plan, design, describe and present data solutions to support product growth and enhancement.
- Consult with clients (new/potential) to discuss requirements and provide appropriate data solutions for product delivery.
- Operational Management- Design data solutions and write technical specifications for incremental or new business requirements. Provide technical advice to Development and Client Engagement teams and help direct intelligent design of solutions.
- Propose appropriate solutions in the early stages of a project, estimating and scoping the effort of work involved. Review customer proposals and business cases to ensure projects can be delivered effectively and successfully transitioned to core business. Attend client meetings and workshops where required.
- Improve system performance by conducting testing, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements
- Design conceptual and logical data models
- Analyse requirements and implement frameworks to enable consistent data integration implementations
- Review production issue and proposed solution for client/product
- People Leadership- Mentor members of the team
- Work closely with Development and Client Engagement team
- Governance & Risk- Adhere to all aspects of the Link Group Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy
- Follow Empirics development guidelines adhering to documentation, source control and code releases

**Experience & Personal Attributes**
- Tertiary qualification in computer science or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of industry experience relating to data warehouse.
- Knowledge and skills set associated with extracting, gathering and combining data for data analysis and data profiling activities
- Ability to analyse large amount of data and provide feedback and recommendations to stakeholders
- Working experience in Microsoft Technology Stack (e.g. Azure, SQL).
- Able to define high level solutions and system architectures and understand how various components of the architecture interact.
- Proven experience designing technical solutions in a rapidly changing environment.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience communicating data solution designs to both technical staff and to clients and non-technical stakeholders.
