Our client based in Marsden Park are a leading manufacturer and supplier of municipal vehicles and equipment. They currently have an opportunity within their Service Technician team for a Leading Hand If you have experience as a Leading Hand, Service Technician/Field Technician, Light or Heavy Duty Diesel mechanic, Automotive Assembly or experience across hydraulics this may be the role for you. This role would be full-time Mon-Fri 12pm - 9.30pm however this is flexible. Please note there may also be overtime options.

Our client based in **Marsden Park** are a leading manufacturer and supplier of municipal vehicles and equipment.

They currently have an opportunity within their Service Technician team for a **Workshop Leading Hand** If you have experience as a Leading Hand, Service Technician/Field Technician, Light or Heavy Duty Diesel mechanic, Automotive Assembly or experience across hydraulics this may be the role for you.

This role would be full-time Mon-Fri 12pm - 9.30pm however this is flexible. Please note there may also be overtime options.

**About the Role**:
Working as a part of team, you will be responsible for:

- Manage workflow from service to workshop
- Assisting in the set up of workshop and parts department
- Provide effective leadership and direction to allocated team members
- Service and maintenance of Street Sweepers, Trucks, Automotive Equipment and other various machine equipment
- Trouble shoot, diagnosing and quoting units for repair.
- Responsible for conducting assigned scheduled servicing and breakdown work both in the field and in the workshop.
- Attending breakdowns to diagnose and repair faults
- Provide timely support information and assistance to customers
- Complete accurate and timely reporting
- Troubleshooting, Repairs, and overhauls of customer equipment
- Undertake the mechanical assembly of components to meet design and build requirements.
- Diagnose and repair faults and undertake modifications
- Complete accurate and timely administrative records of work undertaken.
- Comply with all company-wide policies & procedures

**About you**:

- Experience as a Leading Hand
- Working with all types of trucks - heavy rigid, articulated dump trucks, agitator truck, side-lift trucks
- Experience as a Field Technician or Service Technician
- Trade Qualification as a Mechanic or Technician - preferred but not essential
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Mechanical/Automotive Assembly or Electrical Experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Have a strong knowledge of OHS procedure
