**The role**

This role reports directly into the Head of Foster Care and Permanency Programs and is responsible for service provision of all Foster Care services for the Sydney region to ensure all requirements are met for the young people, families and carers we support, including the community, the state government and legislative bodies. These requirements will be met by:

- Actively leading service provision of our casework, carer support, family contact and intake streams across Sydney Metro
- Supporting teams to embed team-based ways of working and promoting the adoption of relevant practice frameworks
- Embedding supervision, support and accountability across Foster Care services in the region
- Ensuring practice meets the needs of the children, young people and families, and the standards set by the Office of Children’s Guardian, Department of Communities and Justice and our own policies, procedures and standards of practice.
- Leading a positive, support team culture

**About you**
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Community Services, or relevant field and/or Leadership/Management
- 5 years’ experience in delivering therapeutic out of home care or family-based care models with young people
- 3 years’ Senior management experience leading Child & Family Services
- Experience delivering relevant programs across multiple jurisdictions and portfolios
- Experience providing clinical supervision and support to direct reports

**We offer**
- Salary based on SCHADS 8 dependent on qualifications and experience equivalent to $110-118K base + super
- Salary packaging $15,900 general and $2,650 entertainment
