**About the Company**

Davidson Technology are currently supporting a government organisation that has a significant positive impact on the nation.

We are seeking a Security Risk Consultant for a 12-month contract, with a daily rate of up to $1090 plus superannuation.

**About the Role**

You will be provide specialist technology risk consultancy and assessment services to manage the risks, underlying threats and vulnerabilities across the project portfolio.

You will ensure strong governance of risks throughout the project lifecycle and analyse all new products, services, concepts and proposals in the program. You will provide advice to senior leaders on potential non-compliance to relevant Government and industry compliance requirements to influence design decisions.

You will work closely with leaders in Risk, IT, Project Managers and Business to deliver appropriate risk reduction activities within projects that are aligned to the business risk appetite and strategic direction.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

- Extensive experience in risk management in complex technology environments
- Demonstrated ability to consult and influence senior executives and external providers in a large environment
- Strong communication, organisational and activity management skills
- Demonstrated experience managing risk activities across the project life cycle and a strong understanding of contemporary security treatments
- Knowledge of the Government and industry compliance landscape
- CISSP, CISA certifications and/or similar industry certifications
