**Specifically, you will**:

- Provide advice to key business stakeholders about instructional design processes and adult learning principles to undertake and document training project needs and requirements.
- Draft training and assessment materials aligned to agreed learning outcomes, which are authentic, fit-for-purpose, and consistent with adult learning principles.
- Engage with the Training Coordination team to discuss training needs, including pre, during and post course training administration requirements.
- Facilitate Train the Trainer sessions to equip internal trainers with the necessary skills and provide ongoing support to deliver approved training packages.

Located in Brisbane, you will report to the Senior Instructional Designer forming part of the broader People & Culture division. **Your expertise**:
You will have proven experience in instructional design and development, with a strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Naturally, you will have previous experience with multimedia authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline / Rise or similar software and ability to build eLearning / multi-media storyboards

**You will also possess**:

- Degree level qualifications in Adult Education, Learning / Training & Development, Educational Design or formal qualifications in Instructional Design Model coupled with demonstrated experience in a similar position
- Certificate IV in Project Management and/or proven experience project managing multiple training / learning initiatives through to execution
- Valid Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE10 with LLN or above) or equivalent.
