**Your role**:
In this role you will work across our two homeless support services located at 2 key Melbourne sites: St Marks Fitzroy, and the Lazarus Centre at St Peters Eastern Hill. You will be part of a small team of employees and volunteers that provide meals, emergency relief, and support to a large number of people that experience primary and secondary homelessness.

**The skills you will use day to day**:

- Your experience in the community services field relevant to the role, particularly in relation to homelessness and mental health.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both clients and volunteers.
- Well-developed time management skills.

**To Be Successful in this Position You Will Need**:

- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and to offer leadership and encouragement to volunteers.
- Demonstrated commitment to social justice principles and supporting people from all backgrounds.
- Competent written communication skills.
- Effective communication skills, including conflict management skills and negotiation skills.
- Computer skills.
- A commitment to supporting the health, safety and wellbeing of program participants and staff.

**All the details**:

- Limited Tenure (3 months) part-time role with possibility of additional hours
- The part-time role is 3 days a week (.6FTE), Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 7am until 3pm.
- Salary is around $73,803 per year (pro rata) plus super plus salary packaging (SCHADS 3.1).
- Office locations are East Melbourne and Fitzroy.
