To keep up with the demand and our expanding business, we have an exciting opportunity for a passionate New Product Development Assistant to be based in our Mulgrave office

The duties of the New Product Development Assistant include but are not limited to:
Prepare a cost analysis on new product, ensure all costs are identified and recorded accurately;
Research and compile information to evaluate price competitiveness;
Identify opportunities across current portfolio to improve costs, performance and convenience;
Ensuring all requirements are met as per the NPD process from concept to launch;
Managing product database including product spec sheet;
Data entry / product setup of costing and specifications;
Research, identify and evaluate new products opportunities from market research, sales information, emerging trends and data analysis to drive category growth and portfolio diversification;
Facilitate range reviews including preparation of samples, presentation, first order, etc.
Assisting sensory evaluation;
Any other duties assigned by the line manager.

**Requirements**:
Full Australian working rights
Tertiary graduated (business/commercial graduated will be an advantage)
Previous working experience in marketing or FMCG industry will be an advantage
Good analytical, numerical skills
Good administrative, organisation skills and strong attention to details
Can-do attitude and results orientated
