**The Organisation**
Our client is a well-established business with over 50 years of expertise in their field, Australia-wide. They have built a strong working culture which provides their employees with flexibility as well as a friendly and supportive team environment. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on a permanent basis in Melbourne's Western suburbs of Laverton North.

**Position Description**
Reporting into the Finance Manager, your daily tasks will include but not be limited to:

- High volume invoice processing
- Completing weekly & ad hoc payment runs
- Statement reconciliations
- Handle supplier queries
- Management of relationships with suppliers
- Month end duties
- Ad hoc tasks as required

The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar end to end Accounts Payable role. You will also have the following attributes:

- High attention to detail and an ability to prioritise own work
- Demonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously, as well as collaboratively among a close knit team
- Ability to work proficiently in a high volume environment
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
