Business Implementation Manager will manage the business implementation activities for a Qantas Freight project. This is a cross-functional role, with staff indirectly reporting to this position. This role will lead, innovate and shape the future ways of working throughout the freight business. The role demands ability to lead complex activities across the business areas ensuring integration and /or alignment with the other project streams. Some traveling will be involved during implementation phase.
- You’ll have:
- 7+ years Project Manager experience, with demonstrated success in managing and directing complex projects-
- 5-10 years’ experience of working within multi-sourced vendor environment with track record of success with complex delivery-
- 7+ years’ experience in a large corporate organization with experience of building and maintaining effective relationships at a senior level including containment of timelines, budgets and risks-
- Experience working within the freight industry would be desirable-
- Worked on a medium to large business transformational projects as an Implementation Manager-
- Proven experience using various SDLC methodologies-
- Proficient using various MS products such as PowerPoint, Word, EXCEL and Visio or other presentation tools-
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills to engage all stakeholders-
- Proficient in using technology as a management reporting tool and experience working with information technology staff to develop and implement program evaluation systems-
- Ability to promote innovative ideas and accept the risks that are required to lead change-
- Ability to make decisions independently and to assume higher-level leadership responsibilities in critical situations-
- Ability to innovate under new and/or changing conditions and to influence across teams to drive change-
