Our Perth office has an exciting opportunity for a proactive Practice Assistant to support their Energy, Resources & Infrastructure practice.

About the role

Our Perth Energy, Resources & Infrastructure practice are looking for a Practice Assistant to support partners, Peter Vaughan & Lorenzo Pacitti, and the broader team.

This role offers the chance take initiative and anticipate the needs of the team, leveraging your exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to stay one step ahead. Daily tasks will vary but will involve legal document management, client relations (including reception duties), financial administration, file management, diary management, travel coordination, ad hoc Author support and general administrative support. This role also has the capacity for demi-paralegal work.

What experience are we looking for?
- Minimum of 1 year in a legal support role (such as Legal Assistant, Practice Assistant, Legal Executive or Legal Secretary)
- Sound knowledge of the monthly billing process in a legal environment - experience with Elite highly regarded
- Typing speed of 70+ wpm
- Advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, choosing an appropriate style for their audience
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Fluent verbal and written skills (English essential, and Mandarin highly regarded)
