**Our YMCA Vocational School: Redlands Junior Campus **is recruiting a **School Administrator** to join our diverse and multi-disciplinary team on a **Permanent, Full Time **basis located in** Victoria Point, QLD**
**ABOUT THE POSITION**
Working as the **School Administrator **you will be responsible for the reception and administrative functions of the YMCA Vocational School. You will be the face of the YMCA Vocational School and will be required to communicate professionally and effectively with students, their parents/carers and all other YMCA Vocational School staff.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Maintain an awareness of where school students, vocational students, volunteers and visitors are located across the site
- Responsible for accurate record keeping and reporting, in line with agreed standards, policies and procedures
- Collaborate and communicate with our other YMCA Vocational Schools
- Assist with accounts payable administration and administer day to day financial matters, e.g. process payments and orders, receipting, banking, reconciling invoices for payment, follow-up on late payments as directed by the Business Services Manager
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. school and departmental staff, parents, students, and community members); provide information and advice in line with school policies and/or Head of Campus and Business Services Manager directives; and demonstrates empathy, emotional understanding and support

**The ideal applicant** will be looking for a challenge, a strong interest in the development of the holistic person, a personal interest in health and fitness, spirituality, personal wellbeing, values and ongoing professional development.
In addition, you will be able to meet the following **Selection Criteria**:
- Minimum education level of certificate III in Business or equivalent, coupled with experience in a similar role
- Ability to perform a range of administrative duties with the ability to prioritise competing work tasks and meet set deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to enter data accurately and completely into systems and files
- Be able to work with mínimal supervision and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- First Aid and CPR qualification or willingness to obtain
- Possess or willingness to obtain a Blue Card and a national criminal history check
