The Y, Brisbane has many services tailored to the needs of the communities including Schools’ Breakfast Program, Vocational Schools, Cancer Survivors Program, Community Centres, Affordable Housing, Youth Mentoring and more.

One of the many services that we are very proud to provide for the community is our Outside School Hours Care Service with more than 50 services across Queensland.

**Your workspace at the Y**

The Y OSHC head office is based in Stafford, providing administrative and operational support.

**YMCA Victoria Point Outside School Hours Care OSHC) **is located in the middle of Victoria Point State School with extensive playgrounds and outdoor areas that provide the students with endless gross motor activities. With refurbished, renewed rooms and resources the programs will be effectively designed based on the child’s development socially, emotionally, intellectually and more. The service will certainly engage the creativity and recreational potential for the children.

**What being an OSHC Educator Entails**

OSHC educators care for children before school, after school and during school holiday periods. Highlights include running fascinating, fun-filled and educational activities with primary school children - such as science experiments, outdoor games and painting.

**To be successful you must have**:

- A Certificate or Diploma qualification in Children Services or equivalent or if you are studying towards a relevant qualification
- A Fantastic sense of fun & a tremendous imagination
- Hold or are willing to obtain a current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current Blue Card or willing to obtain one
