The Financial Analyst is a key role within the organisation's finance team to work on a 12 months project.
**Your new role**
This great organisation is looking for a highly skilled Financial Analyst with expertise in finance and accounting for a 12-month fixed-term position.
Reporting to the CFO you will prepare detailed financial analysis to support revenue and expense analysis, looking at YoY variances. Your analytical and financial acumen will be crucial in ensuring the success of this project.
The core responsibilities of this role include:
- Lead the preparation of analysis of business disruption due to lockdowns in 2021. This involves gathering financial data, working closely with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance requirements.
- Analysis of financial data and documents to identify variances, evaluate financial impacts, and track claim progress. This is expected to involve gathering financial information from a number of systems and presenting this information using PowerBI or advanced Excel modelling.
- Effective communication with the finance team and other stakeholders to provide updates and address financial concerns.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field,
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the finance and accounting domain,
- Strong financial analysis and data interpretation skills,
- Proficiency in financial software, accounting tools, and data analysis techniques,
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting,
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
