**About the Role**
- Full Time, Permanent Position
- Neami EBA - Corporate Support Services Level 5
- Head Office, Preston VIC 3072 (interstate/other locations considered)
The role will build collaborative partnerships with line managers to promote and implement practices and workplace culture that a supports healthy and safe workplace for all staff, consumers, contractors and visitors. The National WHS Coordinator will work with managers to consult, propose, develop, implement and support WHS initiatives and health and safety systems. The role will work with Neami national leadership and people managers to ensure that Neami National meets all Health and Safety legislative requirements and is compliant with all state WHS and OHS Acts.
**What will you bring?**
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Health and Safety or similar field
- 5+ years’ work experience in a WHS Coordinator role or similar position
- Return to work training/accreditation
- Ability to identify, report on and interpret WHS trends in an organisation
- Working knowledge of Australian Work, Health and Safety legislation and ability to interpret and provide advice on such legislation
- Demonstrated experience in building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, innovate and deliver at an operational level
- Demonstrated ability to provide coaching and mentoring to senior leaders on WHS issues
- Demonstrated influencing skills, including engaging a variety of stakeholders to achieve significant, organisation-wide change
