**We have 2 casual positions available at our East Hills Day Program.**

You will play a key role in proactively supporting and empowering our clients to be part of the community, their hobbies, interests and programs and to live independently.

This role really requires someone fun and vibrant with a passion for supporting young people.

- ** Shifts are 9am-3:30pm Monday to Friday ONLY**

**What you will be doing**:

- Support young vibrant adults who attend day program to be an active part of their community and achieve their goals
- Show willingness to engage and clients in individualised or group programs, hobbies and interests
- Provide personal care respectfully if and when required
- Capacity building to promote choice and control and build independence
- Follow behavioural support & NDIS care plans

**Some of our requirements**:
We are aware there are quite a few compliance checks (listed below) for this role however, what’s important to us is that you have regular access to your own car and a P2 NSW Drivers License. Also availability as this role only has 1 shift pattern available, 9am - 3.30pm.

**Please note**: successful applicants will be required to hold a NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and a Working with Children Check. If you have lived or worked for a continuous period of 12 months or more in another country within the last 10 years, a certified International Police Check from that country/countries will also be required. As part of our Covid-19 response the Scope Covid-19 policy requires all our employees regardless of the job to have received at least 3 doses of a Covid-19 vaccine. Please note that the offer will be conditional on meeting these requirements.
