Our organisation provides services to people with a disability across Canberra region. We are looking for a few more people to join own team now in a range of roles across the Canberra, including one-to-one home support.

Currently we are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic reliable individual who would be interested in all types of work to further develop their skills and build strong working relationships with people with disabilities. The participants would like to have a staff member in their team who likes fitness, movies, health, food, music, shopping, sports, cooking and animals. The person should bring a positive and energetic energy when start their shift.

**Tuesdays 9:30am - 1:30pm (Community access)**
**- Must have availability to cover the above shift.**

**More flexible shifts available.**

**Immediate start**

To be successful, you will demonstrate the following:

- Working experience with intellectual disability
- Medication administration trained (Essential)
- Manual Handling trained (preferred)
- Certificate III in Disability/Individual Support
- Mental health supports experience
- First Aid Certificate
- Completed NDIS Worker Orientation & Covid-19 Infection control Modules (or ability to attain)
- Personal resilience along with passion and purpose
- Demonstrated care and compassion to work with our clients
- Excellent oral and written communication and comprehension skills to work with our clients to achieve their goals/outcomes
- Current Driver’s License and own transport - (Essential)

The successful applicant must have a National Police Certificate (no older than 6 months, a workers screening check and should be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- working with people with disabilities: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Australian Driving Licence (required)
