Canning Vale, Australia Rope Access Technical Services Pty Ltd Full time

MGC Solutions Pty Ltd is a key provider of Infrastructure Services, delivering works in the Railway Signalling and Railway Communications sectors across Western Australia. An opportunity has become available for experienced **Fitter **to join our team on a full time basis in the Perth region. The position requires minimum 2 years’ experience.

The annual salary offered will be from $70,000 to $75,000 plus super. Our office is located at Canning Vale WA 6155. This role requires frequent site travel in the metro and possible regional Western Australia.

Responsibilities of the role include:

- Ensures Individual and team HSE performance is monitored and to an acceptable standard to meet and preferably exceed requirements.
- Fabricate, fit, and assemble the structural components of various mechanical systems.
- Analyse the blueprints for mechanical - systems to specifications of the components to be constructed.
- Construct structural components from raw materials.
- Using welding equipment to fuse structural components.
- Inspect fabricated components to ensure that they are the correct size
- Utilise shears, power saws, cutting torches, and chipper knives to cut structural components as needed.
- Create a suitable maintenance schedule and perform system maintenance accordingly.
- Conduct diagnostic testing on malfunctioning systems to determine the root cause of the malfunction.
- Replacing damaged or defective structural components as needed.
- Adhere to all work site safety rules and regulations.
- Prepare machinery fault reports and submit these to the Supervisor as required.
- Ability to work independently and to use initiative and judgement to solve problems effectively and achieve results.
- Calm, determined and confident approach with the ability to be tactful but persistent and to positively influence outcomes.
- Ability to organise and establish priorities with a result focussed outlook.
