We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to work for the Fixed Plant Overhaul Division. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work for an industry leader located in Canning Vale. This is a casual full-time role with potential to go permanent.

**Role duties include**:

- Producing machines and equipment by assembling metal parts and sub-assemblies.
- Use precision measuring instruments to determine the accuracy, clearance and fit of assembled and fabricated metal parts.
- Operating equipment and carrying out all work in a safe and efficient manner.
- Diagnosing faults where required.

**The successful applicant has the following skills and experience**:

- Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate.
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential).
- A strong commitment to HSE and QA as a priority, and the ability to work unsupervised and function well within a team environment.
- Preferred experience in mining fixed plant equipment (gearboxes) - workshop based.
- Hydraulic experience (preferred but not essential).
