Hagstrom Drilling is a privately owned and operated drilling company based in Canning Vale, Western Australia. We are seeking Full Time Drill Fitters / Plant Mechanics for field service on a 2:1 or 2:2 rosters from Perth.

Key components of this role are to service and maintain a modern fleet including Schramm, Austex, Boart Longyear, and Sandvik Drill rigs, Sullair air compressors, Ox boosters, and tracked support equipment.

ESSENTIAL KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Mobile Plant Mechanic / Drill Fitter trade qualification (MEM31419 AD5511) or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in diagnosing / servicing / repairing of surface drill rigs, hydraulics, auxiliary water pumps and compressors.
  • Minimum Heavy Rigid (HR) drivers license or above.
  • Possess general welding and fabrication skills.
  • Attention to detail, organized, self starter, strategic thinker, good problem solving and housekeeping skills.
  • Flexible, able to multi-task and excellent prioritization skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Motivated to be apart of a proactive team focused on the continual development and improvement of the organisation as a whole.

This hands-on role requires an individual who has high attention to detail, can work autonomously, and has high regards for Quality Service Safely.

The successful applicant must have the ability to adhere strictly to Hagstrom Drilling's Safe Work Policies and Procedures.
