**Your New Opportunity**:
We have an exciting position available for a motivated and personable **HSEQ Manager** to join our Cleanaway ResourceCo team. Reporting to the General Manager, this leadership role is responsible for managing health, safety, quality, and environment activities across the Joint Venture. You will be a key voice in our business, providing expert knowledge and advice to ensure our people and environment are safe and ensure the operation always remains compliant.
**Responsibilities will include but not limited to**:

- Develop strategies, programs and initiatives designed to engage visible HSEQ leadership and effective capability across all areas of business, through education and awareness;
- Develop and in conjunction with the operational teams, implement effective HSEQ policies, standards and procedures;
- Maintain an awareness and routinely communicate changes in HSEQ legislation, regulations and standards;
- Prepare and present related reports and presentations as required.;
- Managing and maintaining the ResourceCo group accreditation of International Standards for Occupational Health, Safety ISO 45001, Environment ISO 14001 and Quality ISO 9001.
- Implementing ResourceCo Values (Sustainable, Committed, Creative and Agile) into day-to-day practice
- Lead from the front in a hands-on manner as drive positive engagement will all employees in the business
- Supporting a highly functioning team by promoting a hands-on, people-focused, and inclusive approach to workplace culture and collaborative work styles

**About you**:
This role will suit an ambitious and energetic person with demonstrated experience in building and leading HSEQ capability in a fast paced industrial / manufacturing environment.
A Degree qualification in Health, Safety and/or Environment Management and/or significant HSEQ management experience in a similar role is required;
- Demonstrated leadership and people management experience;
- Sound knowledge of the Health and Safety legislative requirements, contemporary safety matters and best practice;
- Strong demonstrated experience in a similar role within the Recycling & Waste Industry would be advantageous, however not mandatory;
- Strong computer literacy including MS Word, Excel & Power Point and previous working experience with systems;
- Lead investigation training - ICAM or similar;
- Return to Work certification
- A team player who knows how to coach and motivate the team towards our zero-harm goal.
