**Role**: Test Analyst

**Experience** - 4+ years

**Work Location**: 101 Armstrong St N, Ballarat Central VIC 3350

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead test automation initiatives, focusing on the design, development, and maintenance of scalable automation frameworks.
- Utilize TOSCA for test automation, including creation, execution, and maintenance of automated test cases.
- Participate in the full testing lifecycle, including test planning, execution, defect logging, and resolution tracking.
- Execute complex SQL queries to validate data integrity and support comprehensive test analysis.
- Use test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA for end-to-end documentation and issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and execution reports.
- Collaborate with QA teams to support all aspects of software release testing, coordinating with internal and external QA resources.
- Design and execute ETL test plans to validate data pipelines and ensure accurate data transformations and loading.
- Conduct system, integration, and regression testing across multiple environments to validate functionality and performance.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Business Analysts to define clear, complete, and testable requirements.
- Validate data consistency, transformation logic, and successful data migrations.
- Maintain strong collaboration with developers, Business Analysts, and product owners to define effective test strategies and provide regular updates on test progress and defect status to stakeholders.

**Skills**:

- Good understanding of automation frameworks and their implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Web and API automation.
- Experience in software development and test automation (Java, Python, or similar).
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
- High level proficiency in SQL for data validation.
- Familiarity with various automation tools like Tosca, Katalon, Selenium.
- Exposure to cloud platform AWS.
- A strong grasp of the testing process and methodologies.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles: TDD, BDD, and risk-based testing.
- Experience leading UAT cycles and working closely with business users.
- Experience in API testing (REST API) for web services and UI space.
- Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies and working in sprints.

Pay: $73,500.00 - $90,000.00 per year
