- Time Maintenance Planning Co Ordinator.
The position is based in the Victorian Regional area of Lancefield and the maintenance planning includes the Woodend site as well. The full time, salaried position reports to the Lancefield Farm Manager.
The SPF facilities involve HVAC systems with HEPA filtration systems and the Lancefield site has a DAFF approved 7. 10 AA facility under construction and this facility must meet the most stringent biosecurity containment requirements when importing fertile breeder eggs from Europe.
The position
Planning preventative maintenance programmes, liaising with service providers, planning equipment spares, planning HEPA certifications are all part of the responsibilities of the Maintenance Planning Co Ordinator. Other equipment to be maintained include 3 generators, water bore pumps, egg incubation equipment, high pressure washing equipment, incinerator, egg cool room refrigeration units, feeder augers, water treatment systems and more.
Required Skills and Experience
A relevant trade or minimum Diploma level tertiary qualification is required in one or more disciplines including mechanical, fitting, electrical and HVAC systems.
At least 10 years hands
- On experience maintaining essential equipment such as generators and refrigeration systems is essential.
PC skills and experience in planning software, using maintenance programmes such as MEX is also essential.
Excellent communication skills are required to co
- Ordinate capital projects and maintenance plans with varying stakeholders from Managers to husbandry staff and the service providers.
