**The Opportunity**

Due to an exciting phase of change, a new opportunity exists for a Head of PMO to join Gallagher Bassett’s driven IT, Product and Strategy team. The team is accountable in delivering results for the organisation to grow the business through the exceptional delivery of projects and initiatives.

As Head of PMO, this opportunity will see you providing visionary leadership to the PMO function, sharing guidance, expert advice and passion to develop portfolio and project capability, lead project management framework and assurance, ensure project management success and provide leadership within the organisation.

You will have a varied remit across business transitions, enterprise projects and initiatives, digital programs, complex client engagement and implementations, and post-acquisitions of new business. With a global reach, this role will enable you to provide impact at both a local and international level.

**Additionally, you will**:

- Lead and coach the PMO function to drive efficiency, control and continuous improvement in line with GB’s strategic objectives;
- Take a hands-on approach in leading and supervising projects, acting as the head of projects to plan, organise, coordinate and control, ensuring full and successful integration into GB systems, policies and procedures;
- Collaborate with the Business Transition Lead and all operational and corporate business units to coordinate a successful enterprise-wide and function integration of business won;
- Develop and facilitate projects across risk, scope, estimation, resourcing, communication, vendor management and stakeholder engagement;
- Provide effective, consistent and timely dashboards, analysis and reporting to assist in informing strategic decisions and provide full transparency across project progress and outcomes.

**We are seeking a driven, collaborative and passionate individual who will have**:

- Extensive experience in senior project management roles and exposure to leading large programs of work. Exposure to the insurance, financial services or government sectors would be advantageous, although not essential;
- Demonstrated experience in collaborating across a wide range of stakeholders, including executive and C-suite, corporate and operational;
- Highly-developed communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of organisation;
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation and problem-solving skills;
- A lateral and creative mindset;
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines;
- Experience managing digital programs of work would be highly advantageous.
