**Description**:
What we are looking for
As a Cloud Support Administrator, you will put our values up in lights by delivering these activities and outcomes.
- Performing system monitoring and analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting and escalating issues, including proactive problem resolution and complex problem analysis as necessary, to maintain system performance to meet user demand
- Reducing operational risk and improve availability of the server and network infrastructure & services by ensuring system access, monitoring, control, evaluation and documentation practices are maintained and adhered to
- Developing, maintaining and performing operational procedures and ensure operational tasks are performed reliably and consistently to reduce the risk of unplanned outages
- Collecting and analysing operational data (especially incident and change records) to identify emerging trends and log problem records to assist with problem resolution and increased server/service availability.
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
**Skills and Experiences**:
The things that are really (really) important
- An understanding of the telco and cloud services provider industry,
- A degree qualification in computing, information technology, or equivalent qualification in a field relevant to the position from a recognized tertiary institution,
- ITIL V3/4 Foundation certificate,
- Appropriate technical knowledge, experience, and industry certification as relates to:
- Virtualisation - vSphere suite including vCenter, vRealize Operations Manager, vRealize LogInsight, vCloud Director, NSX-T
- Storage - NetApp ONTAP
- Data Protection - Veeam, Zerto, Rubrik
- Microsoft - Patching, Creating/managing system permissions and user accounts, DNS administration
- Public and Private networks and interconnections
- Public & Private cloud deployments from leading suppliers (AWS, Azure)
- Security Best Practices
- 3-5 years working in an enterprise environment with mature incident, problem, change, and release management principles in place,
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Solve problems and think like a leader
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Learn quickly and adapt to changing situations
All entitlements will be in accordance with the Fair Work Australia National Employment Standards (NES). The starting range for this position is AUD $58,000 + superannuation dependent upon skill set and experience.
