We are seeking a General Hand for the Service Operations Department of a national equipment hire company

Primary Responsibilities:

- General hand duties and assisting tradesman
- Management and coordination of facilities subcontractors
- Ensure all plant and equipment required for general day-to-day operations are functional, compliant and safe and stock levels are maintained.
- Liaise and coordinate contractors undertaking any work on/in the facility and be the central point of contact for all matters relating to facility management.
- Monitor and manage the replenishment of gas and fuel stocks on site
- Maintain housekeeping of facility including presentation of new and used sales stock
- Loading/unloading of machines for transport

About You:

- A trade/maintenance background would be an advantage but not essential
- Ability to prioritise tasks and responsibilities
- Good organizational skills
- Can-do approach and be flexible
- Current drivers license
- Sound product is advantageous, but not essential
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision & self-motivated
