Nambour, Australia Iolar Operational Services Full time

Iolar Operational Services (IOS) is seeking to engage an experienced individual to work as a Resource Recovery Centre (RCC) Attendant/Operator at the Nambour Resource Recovery Centre located at Bli Bli on the Sunshine Coast. IOS will be managing and operating the resource recovery and bulk stockpile area of this site on behalf of Council.

**Preferred skills include**:

- Competency / ticket for a wheel loader, excavator and water truck is required / desirable.
- Waste management experience desirable.
- Workplace Health and Safety knowledge and experience in the implementation of system requirements.
- Computer/tablet and mobile phone literate.
- Good customer service and experience with dealing with challenging situations.
- Willingness and capability to work outside and undertake labouring activities.

**Job Status**: Casual.

**Days of Work**: 4 on and 4 off or similar (site is open 7 days a week)

**Hours of Work**: up to 10 hours / day

**Pay Rates**:Starting from $35.46, with higher rates for those who can operate plant (in accordance with the Waste Management Award and relevant classification)

**Fixed Term Contract**: 22 months (initially to 31st October 2026)

**Expected Start Da**te: February 2025

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $35.46 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Rotating roster
