About the role:
Join AGL as a Customer Communications Specialist within our Customer Communications team, where you'll create and manage impactful content across our energy portfolio for residential (RESI) and small-to-medium enterprise (SME) customers. You'll play a pivotal role in driving customer engagement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting operational goals to enhance the overall customer experience.

What you can expect in the role:

- Develop clear, engaging, and accurate communications to meet product, pricing, regulatory, and operational objectives.
- Ensure all communications are error-free and fully compliant with the latest regulations, continuously updating knowledge of compliance requirements.
- Lead the response to communication errors, ensuring swift remediation and implementing controls to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across all communications.
- Utilize performance dashboards to identify opportunities to optimize customer engagement and refine communication strategies.
- Create educational materials in partnership with customer service teams to proactively address common customer concerns and improve service.

What we would like to see you bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in communications roles, preferably within the energy or other regulated industries.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to craft concise and impactful messaging.
- Proven experience in developing regulatory communications and responding to regulatory changes.
- Strong project management abilities to juggle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in measuring communication effectiveness and using data to inform strategy.
