**The Role**

You will be part of a company's growth, transformation and change with a better business strategy, culture and diversity of the business. You will also be able to build the team, driving changes, process improvements and be part of system implementation and leading a team.

This is a senior role reporting directly to Deputy CFO.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee the Financial Control function ensuring that all operations are performed in an effective and efficient manner, including but not limited to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Bank, Payroll, General Ledger, End-of-Period Closing and Reporting.
- Develop and implement appropriate accounting policies and procedures in compliance with IFRS
- Maintain a high standard of documentation for financial processes, including but not limited to Reconciliations, Audits, Tax and other Regulatory requirements
- Understand and anticipate the needs of the business and strive to provide consistent, high quality and timely outcomes to meet demands
- Oversee and validate the approach and processes for capturing correct information for the manufacture and sale of products
- Formulate the approach and processes for the preparation of all Interim and Annual reports as well as Regulatory and Statutory returns with an emphasis on deadlines and accuracy
- Manage and development the skills of the Financial Control team and continuously seek opportunities for improvements
- Participate in and ensure that any new finance systems or system enhancements are implemented smoothly and on time
- Any additional ad-hoc task as and when required

**About You**

To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

- Strong hands-on experience in all aspects of finance
- Leading a team of at least 10 staff
- Managing the full spectrum of a manufacturing accounts
- Monitor and manage on the costing, variances, cash flow and forecasting requirements of the plant
- Design and implement internal control processes
- Transforming systems from old to new ERP system
- Overseeing transfer pricing, intercompany transactions, IFRS, and any other legal requirements
- Ability to drive transformation and change to the business and to deep dive into analysis and overall business aspects

**Requirements**:
To be the successful applicant for this great opportunity you must be CA or APA qualified with the minimum 10 years working experience in a manufacturing environment or pharma divisions, you must have strong leadership and ability to drive business decisions and strong business partnering experience.

You must be able to communicate well in spoken and written word and ability to manage resistance, conflicts and with empathy.
