ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking several full-time Logistic Specialist Trainees to join **Jaybro **at their warehouse in **Eagle Farm**, Brisbane. Jaybro is a leading supplier to the infrastructure industry, providing customers with quality products and expert advice for over 25 years. Jaybro continuously strives to be an industry leader in customer satisfaction and in employee development.

If you’re eager to learn and develop new skills, completing a qualification would be a great opportunity. Undertaking this two-year traineeship will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Logistic Specialist and earn your **TLI30321 Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations - Warehousing Operations**.

You will be responsible for and contribute to:

- Stock management
- Picking and packing items
- Physically unloading containers and pallets
- Organising freight consignments
- Processing purchase orders
- Operating RF scanners and completing online training
- Using pallet jacks and forklift machinery, if certified to do so
- Ensuring health and safety requirements are met

**ABOUT YOU**
- Have the desire to learn and have a positive attitude
- Energetic and proactive, acceptive of change/cross training - willingness to learn and grow
- Great communication and interpersonal skills - confidence to ask questions
- Attention to detail and basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment will be well regarded but not required
- Ambition to Wow internal & external customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Good safety awareness
- Driver's licence and own reliable vehicle
- Forklift licence well regarded but if you are prepared to learn, we would look to put you through the course at no cost to you
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol test and police check
- Be up to date with or willing to get COVID-19 vaccinations
