An outstanding opportunity is available to join this world leading specialist provider of supply chain logistics and services in the position of Regional Account Manager.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the position is responsible for the account management of allocated regions. This is a crucial leadership role to ensure operational and commercial success is achieved.
**Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:
- Overseeing various regional hubs
- Working closely with clients’ Regional and Global Logistica Managers and other stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement for the commercial and operational benefit of the client
- Producing, maintaining and continuously reviewing customer SOPs to ensure accuracy and relevance is maintained
- Being responsible for the distribution of operation plans for review
- Reviewing contract rates semi-annually for operational purposes
- Cross checking of EDI data on a regular basis to correct any apparent variances
- Regular liaising with the clients’ Logistics Managers to review results and rectify any discrepancies
- To be aware of any charter shipments, communications and quotes for potential charter freight movements
- Regularly reviewing Non-Conformance Reports to ensure their effective management with trends identified for further action and improvement
- Reviewing all commercial opportunities regionally to ensure their fruition
- Producing various business reviews and monthly reports

- Experience in developing and implementing business plans
- High level understanding of IT systems and their functionality
- Strong influencing and networking skills with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Highly motivated and results driven
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
