**About the role**

As a full-time Medium Rigid with Crane Driver at BC Sands, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of sand and construction materials to sites across the Sydney Metro region. This is a hands-on role that requires both driving and operating the crane to load and unload the vehicle.

**What you'll be doing**
- Safely operate a medium rigid vehicle, including the vehicle's crane, to load, transport and unload sand, gravel and other construction materials
- Carry out pre-and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
- Deliver materials on time and in full to job sites, adhering to all relevant transport regulations and safety protocols
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials using the crane, ensuring efficient and secure loading practices
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Provide excellent customer service to clients
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

**What we're looking for**
- Valid Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licence and experience operating a medium rigid vehicle with crane
- Forklift Licence is essential
- Knowledge of transport regulations and safety best practices
- Excellent driving skills and awareness of vehicle dimensions and load capacity
- Strong crane operation skills and ability to safely load/unload materials
- Good customer service orientation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace health and safety

Pay: $35.70 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- MR Truck Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
