**Position Vacant** - Early Childhood Educator

**Location**: Lennox Head, NSW

**Days and Hours**: Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (or any two days a week)

**Child's Age**: 15 months

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced childcare educator to support a lovely family in Lennox Heads.

**About the Role**:

- Provide high-quality care tailored to the child's individual needs, supporting their routine and daily activities.
- Engage the child in age-appropriate play-based learning experiences that promote development in communication, motor skills, and social-emotional growth.
- Assist with feeding, meal preparation, and maintaining a healthy eating routine.
- Support sleep times and sleep routines.
- Maintain a safe and stimulating environment, ensuring all care practices align with best practices in early childhood education.
- Communicate effectively with the family, providing feedback on the child's progress and daily activities.

**Hourly rate**: $40.00 per hour

**Prerequisites**:
Please ensure you have all the following prerequisites before applying:

- Certificate III in Children’s Services (ACECQA approved)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (in a childcare setting)
- WWCC (Working With Children Check)
- Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)
- Public Liability Insurance (once successfully placed)
- Medical Clearance
- Child Protection Certificate (refresher required every 2 years)
- ABN (this role is for a self-employed contractor)
- Photo ID
- PRODA RA (the office will assist you with this)
- Must be over 18 years of age

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- Cert III in Early Childhood (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- CPR Certification (preferred)
- ABN (preferred)
- Police Clearance (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
